To raise funds for Brann - read her story below

Big Heart Rescue held a special evening celebration for all those who believe in miracles!

A warm thank you to all who came out and supported Brann's fundraiser!

The lower mainland Big Heart team worked so hard to ensure that fun activities took place, that beautiful raffle baskets were available and that the silent auction items would appeal to a wide range of interests.

The body art was amazing and was a huge hit with folks who were looking for a little something different as part of their Halloween make-up!

Because of all the supportive e-mails, donations, and kind and loving thoughts a life that was at risk is now saved.

On behalf of Brann, the little girl that could, the Big Heart Team sends woofs and wags to all!!!

Brann's Story

Baby Brann was run over by a car and found days later hiding in the bush in Bella Bella. This little four month old husky mix girl was rushed to our vet in the lower mainland via Pacific Coastal Airlines to determine the extent of her injuries and it has been discovered that Brann has a crushed pelvis and one hip joint has been torn out of the socket which has caused nerve and muscle damage.

Brann has survived a 7 hour surgery that included a blood transfusion, and is now in a medical rehabilitation foster home where she will stay at least until she can walk again. Over the coming weeks she will have to attend many physiotherapy sessions including swimming to strengthen her damaged muscles, and further veterinary checkups. Please light a candle for this sweet survivor.

Big Heart Rescue is planning several fundraisers to pay the $5000 to $6000 that it will cost to fully repair Brann's little body.
