Ellie !
Ellie is a beautiful 8 week old husky mix girl who has now had her first set of vaccinations and is beginning her search for a family to call her own.
Sadly, Ellie is one of two puppies (see Silver's story) that survived after the rest of their litter mates where thrown into a river. A volunteer with Big Heart Rescued gathered these two little girls up at three weeks of age and sent them down into the loving arms of our society so we could help to find them all the love they deserve.
After being in care for approximately 4 weeks, Ellie is now 15 pounds and is an out-going gal who would do best in a home with another dog to keep her company and to show her the ropes!
She
has been fostered with older children, dogs and cats! This well rounded darling
pup requires someone home the majority of the day and a fully fenced yard.
Her house training is coming along well, she has a huge appetite and will loves to play tug with her foster fur friends.
In addition it will be mandatory that positive reinforcement puppy classes be attended with a trainer that is recommended by Big Heart Rescue.

Beautiful black beauty Ellie has found her new family on Vancouver Island and is loving being the youngest!!! From a difficult beginning to a wonderful future, this little girl will know nothing but love and adoration for all of her years.
