Ginger !
Ginger and her 10 new born puppies were living outside in the mud and cold of Bella Bella when Big Heart Rescue was contacted.
This very large family will be on their way to a remarkable foster home in the lower mainland by weeks end and will begin to experience full tummies, a warm house and safety from the elements.

Ginger is now living the life of an island girl on Gabriola and is learning that her new foster parents are the "cat's meow". In addition, Big Heart Rescue is proud to announce that after receiving and screening approximately 300 applications for Ginger's 9 puppies all the new families have been found and the puppies have begun their new lives with the best adoptive parents that they could ever have hoped for.

Big Heart Rescue is thrilled to announce that Dave and Sheilagh, Ginger's wonderful foster parents, have made the decision to formally adopt the girl they have provided so much love and care for!
Ginger will continue her happy and carefree life on Gabriola Island where the beach awaits a few steps away from her home, where an abundance of trails and paths are ready for exploring and where contentment and love will keep her heart happy forever more.
