Goldie !

Brave young Goldie was found after spending days stuck in a fertilizer/manure pit in Chilliwack!

This little girl is fighting for her life at the vets office and desperately needs a foster home or foster to adopt home to love and take care of her, so she can recover and enjoy the life she so deserves.

Goldie is thought to be between 6 and 8 months, a pure breed Golden who has had a very rough start in life and now needs to be spoiled and supported as she struggles to stay in this world.

The vet tech at the hospital currently takes Goldie home at night and on the weekends so she can be constantly monitored, have her IV watched and to ensure that she is loved around the clock.

Update: 30 November

Goldie has now found her foster home and is happy to announce that she is accepting applications so she may make the very important decision on who will be her perfect new family!

The vet has declared that Goldie is now 75% on her way to health and while she still has high liver enzymes as the toxins clear out of her body, she is doing very well and is now enjoying sleeping on a big fluffy bed, all warm and cozy just dreaming of what Santa might bring her for Christmas!

Update: 14 December

Congratulations Cory and Doug on bringing home your new baby girl! Goldie/Ruby could not have found a better family to join and we know she will spend the rest of her life basking in the sunshine, chasing butterflies and running after her older brothers and sisters!

AND

Many thanks to Joy Wood who is sponsoring Goldie on behalf of Linda Ganzini. Joy also sent a toy for Goldie.
