Hayden !

Hayden will be coming into the care of Big Heart Rescue within the next week and currently lives with a foster in Bella Bella.

He is 2 years old, a friendly fellow and has had his first set of vaccinations.

Hayden's family are giving him up because the child who initially wanted a puppy became disinterested in him, so the parents were left looking after the dog. Unfortunately, this situation occurs frequently.

Hayden accompanied his female owner to work and she kept milk bones for him there. Ultimately however they had to tie Hayden up to keep him from wandering around, because members of the community were afraid of larger dogs.

Hayden appears to be fine with other dogs but apparently was beaten up a lot by some of the other dogs in town. He's great on leash and is obedient!!

There is no trouble handling him (the vets vaccinated and examined him without any problems), and there does not appear to be any food aggression.

His family were glad that we could take him as some residents were looking to have him shot.

Hayden will be sterilized, vaccinated and have his vet check before being adopted to a loving family who have a secure fence, are home most of the day and are wishing to have a wonderful new best friend join them.

We are thrilled to announce that Hayden found his new family and today begins a life filled with love, forever!
