Kodiak !
Kodiak
was brought into our remote in-field Wellness Clinic recently and was
immediately placed on Sub-Q fluids due to dehydration. This little girl
had been sick for about three weeks, since she was thrown off
a balcony and landed on her skull.
Her family decided to surrender Kodiak to our team so that we could provide the medical treatment that was necessary and not available in the community. It was also discovered that Kodiak was over-whelmed with lice! The vets commented that they had never seen so many lice on a puppy and we would have a hard road ahead to ensure that she would be rid of these pests.
So,
Kodiak came into a temporary medical foster home where the routine of bathing,
feeding, training, loving and cuddling began and once she was ready and on her
way to health she was then transferred to an amazing foster home that was doggie
free and this meant that little Kodiak could take over the house, like the
little Princess she is.
Update: October 1
Our Princess has been adopted! Congratulations Heidi and Craig on the new addition to your family and we are thrilled that you are a Foster Failure. We know that your family is the one and true family for darling Kodiak and your lives will be filled with laughter, love and sunshine.
