Leia !
Cute as a button, sweet as puppy breath, that is what Leia is all about! Leia is about to make her way down to the lower mainland where she will be spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed and de-flead.
A note from Leia's foster Mom:
Leia is a five month old retriever cross. She has crimped hair on her ears and what looks like freckles on her nose! Leia has an incredibly sweet and gentle personality and not an aggressive bone in her body!
Leia was an outside dog before living with her Bella Bella foster mom but she has done very well on housetraining. She is wonderful with the other dog in the house and adores him. She loves to snuggle with the big dog and follow him around so her foster mom thinks she would do best in a home with another dog to keep her company.
She also gets along with the two cats in the house, only displaying gentle curiousity and a desire to eat their food!
Leia does not bark and is learning that sitting is how to get treats. She's not so impressed with bathing but loves a good towel down after a walk in the rain. She will need lots of exercise and already handles long hikes like a adult dog.
Leia loves soft plush toys but thinks bones are okay too! Mostly she just wants her belly rubbed and to be told how cute she is! Leia would fit in to any household that was willing to give her attention, love and lots of treats!
Someone who is home the majority of the day and has a securely fenced yard is very important for Leia.

Congratulations to Linda, Charles and Ecko on finding your new best friend Leia. Her big fur brother, named Big Boy is so happy to have a little sister to frolic with every day. Welcome to the island little Leia, we know you will be forever loved and safe now!
