Michelo !
Michelo
was run over by a car in Bella Bella and thankfully he was saved by his foster
Mom who took him in and has cared for his wounds.
His breed mix is anyone's best guess....do you have any idea?
This gentle sweet heart will be flown down from Bella Bella today (November 13th) and will be taken directly to the vets for a complete check-up, neuter, vaccinations and tattoo.
This
is what his foster Mom has to say;
Michelo is very quiet, and non-aggressive. He is also very timid and I am still having to coax him inside the house - I guess the past of not being allowed inside holds strong with him.
Once inside, you don't know he's here, except for the fact that he is not house-broken. I think that once he's on his own, it will improve but with my schedule and the rest of the dogs, I have not been consistent.
He is good with my cat and is also okay with my little dogs. He is food motivated . I have not witnessed anything destructive other than the fact that he tore up the blanket he slept on - he pulled the stuffing out of it (I am not sure what is up with that stuffing but all dogs seem to like it!).
Update: December
Congratulations Kate, Craig, Kaenin and Michelo! Thank you to an amazing family who supports Big Heart Rescue in more ways than we can ever acknowledge. Your love to those who are in need is beyond amazing and we so appreciate your devotion to those who have no voice.
