Missy !
Note from Missy's foster Mom:
If you're looking for a girly-girl dog who is sweet natured and affectionate, Missy will be it!
Missy is approximately one year old, has been spayed, vaccinated, health checked and is microchipped. She looks like a mini-Benji, has permanent bed-head, and is petite in stature and weighs only about 15lbs.
She has a very pleasant disposition, although she is a little shy of men and new situations. Since coming to my house, she has warmed up considerably and spends her time wrestling with my dogs and playing with all of the dogtoys. She is quite playful, but not hyper or yappy.
I
would give her an "B" in housebreaking and she needs a supportive family who
will do "puppy house training" with her and she does know some basic commands,
such as sit.
Foodwise, she is non-aggressive and shares food bowls with my dogs and cats (she is also wonderful with cats and napped with mine this afternoon on her blanket).
She does not shed, which is a good thing as she does like to make herself comfortable on the couch, and I have not witnessed any destructive chewing. She had a bath this morning and she was very easy to bathe - no struggling, nipping or whining!
She really will be an easy adoption for any family! Ultimately, her ideal family would have a playmate for her or is someone who is home all day o spend quality time with her.
Update: 24 April
Kathy and Mark have brought their new girl home to Vancouver Island where she will spend her days being loved forever.
Welcome home Missy!
