is a very handsome pure-bred Maremma who comes from
the same back yard breeder as the majority of all our other Maremma's.
This stunning boy (approximate age 18 months) is healthy, sterilized, up to date with shots, house trained and currently lives with other dogs in his foster home.
Because of his background, and like all the other Maremmas Big Heart Rescue has placed, Polar is shy of noises and strangers but he is now learning that living inside a house is the best place to be, that food twice a day is wonderful and that humans are kind !

is looking for a new family that has someone home the majority of the day, has
a secure fence and either has breed experience
or has done breed research.
Big Heart Rescue adopts within a two hour drive of the lower mainland (not into the USA) and Vancouver/Gulf Islands.
Note: A completed application, home visit and contract are required when adopting through our organization.
