SweetPea !
SweetPea
has come into the care of Big Heart Rescue with her sister Sunshine. Both girls
are adorable, with their own special Border Collie markings and personalities.
They are now approximately 15 weeks of age and are in foster care in the
Coquitlam area.
They have both been to the vet and they have been de-flead, de-wormed, vaccinated and next week they will both be spayed.
This is what SweetPea's foster Mom has to say about her:
SweetPea…her name really says it all! She’s
sooooooo sweet, and shy, and girly girl like. A little shy, hides her head
until she sees a big ol’ smile and a warm friendly face! Soooo responsive to
love and loving! Her coat is so soft, and while it is shortish now, it will
definitely grow to be a mid length. She’s smart as a whip! Comes to her name
when called and gets along well with all the others, including cats. Watchful,
easily excited, and very eager to please.
If you are home most of the day, have a securely fenced yard and have Border Collie experience or have researched the Border Collie breed please and are interested in adopting SweetPea please send an e-mail to spiritsmission@shaw.ca
Update: Sept 30
Congratulations to SweetPea's new family for finding their perfect match with this little girl!
We wish you years of happiness as you get to know each other and enjoy the moments where smiles come all day long.
Puppies are so cute, BUT !...
Puppies require a tremendous amount of time and effort on your part.
Puppies need to be fed three or four times a day.
Puppies need to be house trained and will probably have "accidents" in your home.
Puppies may cry and keep you up at night.
Puppies chew and they might just chew up your favourite chair.
Puppies dig and they might just dig up your newly planted rose bush.
Puppies jump up and scratch you or others with their sharp claws.
Puppies nip and their sharp teeth hurt.
Puppies need obedience training and they may still ignore you when you tell them "no".
Puppies need you at home with them, so they can learn what love means.
AND... puppies will grow into dogs!
