Big Heart Rescue's first annual Spring Gala, Dinner Dance & Auction was a great success! The auction preview began at 5:00 pm with the buffet dinner starting at 6:30 pm. Radio personalities AJ & Crash ably MC'd the event. Volunteers, sponsors, and special friends of BHR were honoured with certificates for their hard work on behalf of the animals. Despite the large turn-out of over 120 people, door prizes were given to almost everyone! A very special slideshow that brought tears to most eyes and a lump into all throats softened up the audience before the auction! Golf Pro 'Stormin Norm' Jackson auctioned off the wonderful array of contributions made by businesses, artists and individuals in the community. All Night Long DJ Services provided music, all night long!
