Big Heart Rescue
Booth at the Surrey Museum
Easter Fair (2008)
On March 22, Big Heart Rescue celebrated the Easter weekend by participating in the Surrey Museum's Easter Fair (click for poster 230kb). Volunteers Melody and Karen, along with Melody's two children, ran the booth and talked to visitors about dog rescue and adoption.
The event was family-oriented and very busy. Not only did the museum have a big Easter egg hunt but they also told "bunny tales" to many fascinated youngsters.
The undoubted star of the show was Ben who arrived with his foster parents Melissa and Sean. He gave out hundreds of hugs and kisses to the children who couldn't resist cuddling him right back. He was a very happy and tired guy by the time he left!
Thank you to everyone who participated. It was a great success!
