Suzy is the last Katrina evacuee in my care. She's been with me over 3 years. She is a large s/f pit bull. She was 5-6 years old when rescued so would be about 8-9 years old now.
She's good with people of all shapes and sizes, even young kids. She does have a high prey drive so small animals are definitely out. She would probably be okay with a medium to large male dog. She was with a couple of the other (male) dogs that came from NOLA.
Ideally, she'd be the only pet in a "stay at home" family with a large (solid wood) fenced back yard. I'm not sure that farm animals would be safe with her. She has "house manners" and likes massages, watching TV and listening to music.
She's
been in a kennel for quite a while now but has been in 2 separate homes that
didn't work out due to the people not following the rules to protect her from
her propensities. I've attached a photo from her first foster home.
